The oldest registered trademarks
I have identified the oldest registered trade marks in several countries. Naturally, these are not the oldest trade marks in existence, as the history of using names for commercial activities predates the ability to register them. Therefore, the key word here is registered.
Some of these trade marks are still in use today and have been in continuous use for many years. I’d like to remind you that there is no limit to the renewal of trade marks, so they can, in theory, last indefinitely—as long as someone continues to renew them.
